Let Our Island Shine

Beautiful parks are all around the island. Though there are trashcans there, littering is still going on. Some people just don’t care about the environment. We should help pick up trash around the island when we see some. We should keep our island clean and beautiful. We live on this island and that is our job to care and do something about it. The parks on Saipan have beaches. Some people find some time snorkeling. Some people also go swimming with their children, friends, or by themselves. Some tourists swim in the beaches to see fishes and have fun. But some tourists break the corals when they swim and that hurts nature. They break the homes of fishes too. I think the tour guides should make it an official rule that they should be careful not to break the corals. They could also put signs around each beach and park. They should say, “No littering,” and “Be careful not to hurt wildlife or destroy the environment,” in big letters. We should not harm our environment.

The nature in Saipan is very nice. The trees are tall and big. They surround the island and you can find them anywhere. They are near the beach, the sidewalk, near the houses, everywhere. There are flowers too. They grow on trees. They have a good smell. Their fragrance is sweet and strong. They have nectar for the bees and other animals. Some people get so stressed at work, when they come home, they will look at the flowers and trees and feel relaxed. Some people have animals at home. Dogs and cats are nice and cute. They make you happy. The dogs bark and wag their tails. The cat purrs and rubs on your legs. Other people have other animal as pets. We cannot hurt trees or flowers. That does not help the island. It just worsens the environment. We can’t abuse animals too. They are wildlife and we need to take care of them.

Everyone has to work. We need to earn money. Some people are poor and they need to work hard just to keep food on the table for their family. Some people waste their money on playing poker. Everyone has to pay taxes, electric bills, telephone bills, and a lot more. All this does is drive people into poverty. Some of them have to pay all these and have no money for themselves and their needs. Some people are rich and greedy. They do not want to donate their money to charity or help the community. They want all that money for themselves only. Work is exhausting and we get minimum wages. Some of the wages come in late. Unfortunately, there are some people who are able to donate money to help the environment.

Car Interview

Mrs. Wheeler has a small, red tico, a Korean car. She bought it from a Chinese missionary that was going away for 350 dollars. The car is very old and most of the parts of the car are rusting. The car does not have any air bags and sometimes could not turn off and that has happened for about three times already. The left tail light and the door handle are both broken. There is no cover for the gas tank because it was falling anyways and she ripped it off and there is no air-con in her car.
Mrs. Wheeler had the car for about 4 to 5 months now. She thinks it was worth it to buy the car because she does not have to walk anymore to anywhere else and use the school car. She says that if her husband comes to Saipan, he would fix some things and improve the car a bit. She said that the windows could not go up and down because it is stuck and when her husband comes, he would fix the windows and other problems that he can fix. Then she would not have to drive in the rain anymore and get wet. She had chairs in the trunk so she could stop by the beach any time and relax there. She also had swimming things so that she could swim in the pool whenever she wants to and use her weights. She also said that if she had more money, she would fix the car rather than buy a new one.
Mrs. Wheeler says that if she did not buy the car and had enough money to buy a new car, she would buy a beetle for herself. She does not like the car. She also said that it was ugly and very small. The original owner duct taped some of the sides so that it would not rust more. She also had cardboard boxes for the oil leakage. She cleans the car when she drives through the school trashcan. She also says that it would not really matter if she put an air-freshener in the car, but she tried to. She said that in the States, she had two cars. One car was for the boys and the other car was for the girls. She also hopes that her husband could come earlier so that he could fix the car up.

Autobiography

My Autobiography

I was born in the month of March in Saipan. I still live in Saipan, but when I was young; I went to China and stayed with my grandmother for a while. I go to school at Marianas Baptist Academy. I live with my mom, but my sister, brother-in-law, niece, and nephew used to live with us until they moved out. I also have an adopted sister, Lisa. We were both born in the year of the dogs’ and we usually argue a lot. I argue really less with my oldest sister and I never argued with my brother-in-law. I also really like to argue and quarrel with my niece, Xinxin, and my nephew, Louis.
I am Phoebe Zhou. I join PGFC Competition from 3rd grade all the way to 5th grade. Now I am joining MSFL Competitions. I always got a ribbon From the PGFC Competitions. I also won ribbons for swimming competitions. I won an award in 3rd grade as one of the top 5 students in the class. I go to Chinese school too. I was in the highest class. I won a 2nd place award from my whole class along with other small awards. I plan on finishing school, then to college and go on to a university.

Life to me means friendship, love, happiness and getting an education. I am very happy to have such great friends along the way to help me everyday. Then, like everyone, we sometimes feel sad about things. I have a few friends that can help me and let me know that I can trust them with whatever I tell them. I make my school days go by planning ahead of time. I also think what I am going to do tomorrow and I also arrange time to do extra homework and how much time I will need to finish my homework.

The year is 2021. I am 27 years old. I think I will be living in Miami, Florida. I think my mom will be living in China. I will be living in a two-story house with a pool, yard, and playground. I do not know whom I will be married to yet. I now I will have two kids, one boy, and the other one a boy. But I do not know what to name them.

I was born in Saipan on March 25 in the years of 1994. I went to China when I was young and to Guam when I was 11 years old. Then I stayed in Saipan when I got back from both places. I would like to explore the whole world if I get the chance though. My future would be to finish school, college, and go to a university. When I have completed my education, I will have two beautiful, and good kids, a nice, handsome husband and live a good life.

Homework

Do you like homework? Well, I certainly do not like homework. I am a student at Marianas Baptist Academy. Here at MBA, we get a lot of homework each day. Some are pretty hard and some are very easy. All I know is that we all have to finish it before the homework is due.
When the homework is hard, we have to spend time doing it and we may not have time to finish the other homework. By the time we finish it, I bet it is already pass our sleeping time. We also need time to rest our brains and just relax. Some of us do not get enough sleep and are weary when we get to school or wake up late. We might also not have finished all of our homework and is prepared for school.
You see, being a student is not that easy. I think that we should have our homework as class work after we finish our lesson and if we do not finish the work, it will be our homework. Then we can have some time to relax and not have that much pressure on ourselves. We could also have enough sleep and get prepared for the next day. I think it is fair and easy.

I Am Sorry My Friend, Please Forgive Me

Once, there were two friends. They worked in a parlor. One of the two friends is named Leslie and the other was Suzie. Their salary was a small amount of money. Leslie thought up of an idea and said, "Let's go to New York, I think we will make a lot of money there. I also heard that there are many jobs in New York. But Suzie said, "I don't want to go to New York, I like it here in Michigan. I do not think I will be accustomed to the surroundings of New York because I have been here for so long."

Leslie and Suzie were thinking of a plan to solve the problem they had. Then Leslie asked Suzie, "Hey Suzie, I have a plan, but I am not sure you would like it." "Tell me and I will think about it," said Suzie. So, Leslie said, "Why don't I go to New York and you stay here. We will meet at Sam's Restaurant in about two years. How 'bout that?" "That sounds great, so it is, see you in two years and promise that no matter what unless we are dead, we will meet at Sam's Restraurant at the time we depart tomorrow morning," said Suzie.

After two years, Leslie went to the place where Sam's Restaurant stood two years ago. She waited for her best friend to show up. Then came a tall lady and stopped at where Leslie was. She then said to Leslie, "Hi, who are you wating for, you have been satanding here for quite a while, haven't you?" "Why, hi there, I am from New York and I am waiting for a friend to show up. Her name is Suzie. We departed two years ago and promised that we would meet each other again here no matter what happens to us unless we are dead. I am waiting until 11 o'clock. That is the time we departed each other and I came early just in case she came first," said Leslie. Then Leslie looked at her watch, it was made with precious gems and other expensive materials. Her earings and her rings were solid gold with real diamonds on them. After a while, she went away.

Then at 11 o'clock straight, a policeman went up to Leslie and arrested her for robbing a jewelry store in New York. The policeman then gave Leslie a small piece of paper and on it read:

Leslie: I have heard of the bad deeds you have done,
and I do not want a criminal to be my friend. Leslie, I was the lady
who talked to you, and when I saw that face you had when you
looked at your watch, I knew that you were wanted in New York.
I am sorry my friend, please forgive me.

The Mouse, the Bird, and the Hotdog

Once upon a time, there was a mouse, a bird and a hotdog that lived together. They lived very happily together and they never fought. They had assigned each other jobs to do too. The mouse the responsibility to bring water from the well for them to have fresh water everyday, start the fire, and to set the table, the bird had the job of bringing sticks and the food from the forest for the fire, and the hotdog had the job of cooking their food for them. They had these jobs for a long time and they all did their job.
One day, the bird met another bird. The bird that was taking sticks was telling the bird how great his life was and started to tell the other bird about his friends. The other bird then said,"Oh, you are doing all the hard work here. All the mouse does is after carrying the water and starts the fire, he just lies down to rest until someone calls him to set the tables. Well, the hotdog is lazier, he just waits until it is time to eat then he will get up and stirs the food and he is done cooking." The other listened and thought he might have made some sense.
Then the next day, the bird didn't want to get the sticks for the fire anymore. He wanted to change his job with another job. Even though how the mouse and the hotdog begged, the bird was stubborn and wanted to change jobs. With no other way, they changed their jobs. They then agreed that hotdog would go to get food and sticks for the fire, the mouse will cook, and the bird will get the water from the well, start the fire, and set the table.
Then the hotdog went to get the sticks, the mouse put the sticks on the stove, and the bird started the fire, and they were waiting for hotdog to return with the food. Then after a long time, they thought that something happened to hotdog and the bird flew to check on hotdog. She found hotdog under a dog's paws and was about to eat him. Then the bird flew over there to talk to the dog to let hotdog go, but the dog didn't listen and ate up hotdog. Then the bird went to get the food and told the mouse what happened to hotdog when he got home. Then they went to get on with their lives. The mouse learned what hotdog did before and jumped into the pot and started to twirl, but bofore he could get in to the middle, he died from the heat from the fire. Then when the dog turned around, he didn't see the mouse and thought he was hiding and looked for him in the pile of sticks. He couldn't find him anywhere and shouted his name, but received no answer. He was quite worried about mouse. The bird was left all alone. Then the wheat caught fire. The bird panicked, and then he took the pail and went to the well. He scooped the water in the pail, but the pail was too heavy and the bird fell into the well with the pail and he drowned to death.

MORAL:
You should stick to what you do best. Your body may be adapted to what you are doing now and it may not be smart if you changed it so suddenly. Every person is adapted to what they are doing now and have their own jobs. Because of a little comment, it could affect the people around you.

Our Hope For A Better Future

Well, we all hope for a better future and that everything would improve. People hope that there would be new technology to make things easier for them. We do not have to do any hard labor if there would be a better and improved future. Do you think so?
We hope for a better future through God. We do not wish for peace and everything would be better. We ask God and we pray to him to bring wisdom to us. He made everything and he can once again destroy it. He is the almighty God.
The people create new tachnology and God can make it happen. Without God, nothing is possible. He can do anything and he can change it too. They say technology and peace makes a better future. Is it true? We have to hope and pray to God for whatever we want and he will surely give us an answer.
We all have criminals in our community today. I think this is not good for our future and our community. Do you agree. Criminals cause trouble and make the community not safe.
Criminals cando any bad things. The criminal causes the people to have a worse future. Sometimes, with technology they can do worst things to the world. For example: Terrorists makes people unsafe. Terrorists don't bring peace to the future. They also violate God's rules in the Holy Scriptures.
We shall pray to God for these criminals to fear him and have faith in him. Do we all hope that there were no more terrorists? God cares about the people because they were made in his image. When a person murders another person, that person has sinned. When we need help, we have to pray to God.
When we hope for a better future, we have to work hard to heip the community be a better place. We also have to think of things we need to make the future a better place.
We all want a better place to live where everything is easy. If we had robots that listen to your command and does whatever you tells it to do. That would be easy. If we had new technology for catching criminals faster, then we do not have to worry about criminals making trouble. We could invent better protection devices too. I think technology helps make our future more advanced.
The inventions of the robots probably exist in the future. We still do not have robots yet, although, we might have already some technology invented today. As the world improves, we can get well by medicines and taken out of danger with new, and improved technology. We can live longer and have better lives than we have now. We can only hope for these things to happen and we shall pray to God everyday.

My Opinion About My Book

I think that Lion Hound is a very nice book. It tells about everything the character does and it is a facinating story. It is adventurous, sad, and a very exciting book. It talks about hunting and friendship. Jake, Johnny, and Allis are the main character. The story has a lot of events and it is a long story. There is a sad ending, but Johnny got what he wanted. Jake had a puppy, Buck . Johnny owned Buck at the end of the story. I like dogsand these are some of my opinions. I also think you should read the book yourself.

Noah's Ark Essay

Did you know about the story of Noah's ark? Well, it so happens thathe is my uncle. When I was six years old, he told me the story about the great flood in his days. He also told me how he built the ark with God's instruction and how he could stay in the ark for one year and seventeen days.
Noah brought clean animals by seven and unclean animals by two. There were eight people in the ark. The ark was made of gopher wood, 300 cubits long, 50 cubits broad, and 30 cubits high with a window and a door.
They were inside the ark for seven days before the rain began. Then for forty days, it rained days and nights. The ark rested on Mt. Ararat for one hundred and ten days. The mountaintops were visible for seventy-three days. Noah sent out a raven forty days later and it did not return. Then seven days later, Noah sent out a dove and it returned, seven days more, he sent out another dove and it returned with an olive leaf in its beak. Noah sent out another dove seven days later and it did not return. The covering of the ark was removed twenty-nine days later. Then Noah was out of the ark fifty- seven days later.
Noah stayed in the ark of the total of one year and seventeen days. It took them one hundred and twenty yearsto build the ark.

Melvin The Detective

The suspisious detective, Melvin, walked into the dim room. Melvin looked around. His hair covered part of his face. The room was dark and it was hard to see. Melvin walked over to the window. Didn't he look out as though he peeked? His steps made a noise on the bare floor. His heart beat fast. Suddenly, he turned around to see if someone else was in the room. Nothing could stop him now.
